The teen was crossing Martin Boulevard when he was struck by a 2004 Dodge Ram around 7 p.m., city police said.
The teenager was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle stayed onsite after the incident and cooperated with police. However, they are still reviewing the exact cause of the crash.
